We support the Visual and Performing Arts in Butts County

Arts Council Friends,

It’s time to make plans to attend the September 11th meeting of the Jackson-Butts County Council for the Arts, beginning at 6pm at the Daughtry Foundation Building, 221 College St. in Jackson.

Our hosts for September are Linda Haag, Candee Carmichael, Walt Crossland, Glenda Grant, and Gail McLaurin. They will be providing brunch with ham, pineapple casserole, homemade biscuits and grits. They will also have bottled water and iced tea. Members are asked to bring appetizers, sides, salads, and desserts, plus any adult beverage of their choosing.

Social time starts at 6, dinner at 6:30 and our program begins at 7.  Our September Program will be a talk and demonstration by weaver Hannah Thompson. 

New classes at the Art Center will be on the agenda. Minutes from the last meeting are attached.  Hope you can attend.
