Our Mission
The Jackson-Butts County Council for the Arts is organized for the purpose of encouraging excellence in the arts by promoting a broad range of arts activities throughout the county. It is to provide opportunities for children and adults to develop their imaginations and creative abilities through exposure to exhibitions, performances, concerts, festivals, and classes.
What We Do
An Annual Scholarship for a Butts County student furthering their education in the Arts.
Art of the Garden Tour for 2023
Highlight the work of local artists in our Art Center in the Historic Courthouse
Collect and maintain our Permanent Collection, to bring visual arts to our Community.
Create Partnerships with other community groups to facilitate concerts, programs and classes.
Promote friendships and fellowship through the arts.
